Karen Blixen is the former home of Lady Karen Von Blixen, author of the book 'Out of Africa'. The house has been preserved by the National Museums of Kenya to the time of Lady Karen’s residence. The Karen Estates was the site of her coffee plantation. While at the museum, you’ll have a beautiful view of the entire Ngong Hills.

Afterwards, continue to the giraffe center nearby where families of the endangered Rothschild giraffe can be hand fed and photographed from a platform at giraffe's eye level. Afternoon tea is served at the center before returning to Nairobi.
