Today was the premiere for Matthew Broderick's movie "Wonderful World." The premiere was part of the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival and the actor showed up along wife Sarah Jessica Parker.
Unfortunately, Sarah Jessica Parker stoled the whole attention from Matthew as soon as they hit the red carpet.
It was quite sad to see that as soon as they started to pose Sarah Jessica Parker started to pose on her own, leaving Matthew Broderick in a corner by himself. Ignored by everyone photographing Parker.
Fortunately, a photographer took notice of him and screamed to him to pose too. That's when he went to her side and they started posing together.
As they moved on the carpet, the same situation would happen again.
If it was a Sarah event or if they would have been out on the streets, I would have understood why she would have to get all the attention but come on. It was the premiere of his movie, he was supposed to be the big star.
Can you imagine being Matthew and being in your premiere seeing how your wife overshadows you, the day after your Broadway show opens to bad reviews?
Hopefully Matthew's career will pick up in the upcoming time and he will shine in a light of his own.
Although for us and many people he will never be forgotten as Ferris Bueller. Which is better than making a thousand films which are all forgotten. What do you think?
Nyexter - I forgot to add that they are definitely not divorcing, according to reports she is pregnant. Can you believe that?
Bean623 - no way, she is pregnant?! I hadn't heard that yet. That would be INSANE. Maybe that's why she didn't leave him for cheating.
Nyexter - No, apparently they are having twin daughters but via a surrogate mother. That's awesome for them. Apparently, they had been trying to extend their family and this was the option they had to go with.
Nyexter - Do you really think he cheated on her?
Bean623 - Well I think it would be really stupid of him if he did. They are married with a child and she is definitely the bigger celeb at the moment... but I always think there is at least some truth behind all rumors. So I do think he did but they are trying to cover it up and downplay it as much as possible.
