The best way to promote your movie when you couldn't care less about promoting your movie? -- keep your famous head wrapped up in a hoodie.
We caught a gray-bearded Russell Crowe doing just that while leaving his hotel in New York City.
The mega-star who is just as well-known for his off-screen attitude problem as he is for his on-screen film roles, was en route to a television appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.
We thought Russell would have taken down the hood once he arrived to the wall of press outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater.
But what the photogs captured there was just the same as we caught at the hotel -- a gray bearded Russell, wrapped in a hoodie.
Quite the mysterious dork, indeed.
But who are we to judge how a great actor should act in real life?
Ah yes, "think like a reporter" -- or how about a heckler? We think Russell acted like a damn fool. And that's that.

BritBrit247 - haha well unless he is about to go rob a bank he is definitely wearing the hood to hide the grey... why else would he put it on, and you can see that his beard is grey which generally means his head would be too.
