Actor, Billy Crudup is currently in New York City to promote his latest movie "Watchmen". Billy is going to be the biggest star of the movie. His character (Dr. Manhattan) is the biggest character in the movie and is the only one with superpowers.
I met Billy today outside of Good Morning America. He arrived a little bit late, so he was rushing inside. He was inside for about 45 minutes. Around 8:50, he came out and sign a lot of photographs. He also took some pictures with fans. Overall, he was really quiet and didn't seemed eager about interacting with people but he was still very nice and did all of it.
In a recent interview, he said that no one can deny wanting to be famous and wanting to leave a sign of immortality but that he has other priorities over being in covers of magazines and being on the press. He is also very private about his life and doesn't like to be on the spotlight.
Unfortunately for him, his past still haunts him. This past some of you might wonder what it was. Well in 2003, he left Mary Louis Parker after 7 years of living together and 2 months before giving birth to their son.
Why? Well reports claimed that he left her for none other than Claire Danes. That was a terrible move on his part as some people totally lost respect for him. Will this movie help him expand his career? We'll see what happens!
