This photo was taken when Larry Fitzgerald was not as popular as he currently he is now. Now, Larry is coming off possibly the greatest season any footballer could have experienced. It seemed over the last season anything thrown to Larry was "un-droppable."
Well, a few seasons ago when the Cardinals were unknown by everyone, they sent Larry Fitzgerald over to a local Cell Phone dealer to promote the new season.
Larry sat there for hours and signed very few signatures, because nobody showed up. He was very bored there and chatted with us for a long time. He was a real cool guy and it is great to see the success he is currently having.
I am sure he wasn't too thrilled to thrown on the Alltel Shirt but I am sure they paid Larry a pretty good amount for this appearance.
