Last night was the finale of the show Hairspray on Broadway. Hairspray is one of the many shows that are ending its run on Broadway this year because of lagging ticket sales.
Original cast members and Tony award winners Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur starred in the final performance.
Various celebrities were in attendance to say farewell to the show. The biggest stars who came to show their support were Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick.
The couple was very friendly and did not mind posing for pictures despite the bitter weather. They even brought their adorable son, James Wilkie, to enjoy the show.
