When security confiscated all cameras and video cameras backstage at The Wu Tang concert, they missed mine! And as soon as I walked through the door, it was quite clear why no type of recording electronics were allowed back there.
As you can see in the video Masta Killa is holding a blunt as he says hello to their opening act, Ryan Mayberry of the 50 Cent show, The Money and The Power. Unfortunately, it did not take long for him to spot the video camera and give a hand gesture to turn it off. I'm not one to usually listen to such a request, however, anyone named Masta Killa is not someone I was about to say no to!
All members of Wu Tang were there including Ghostface Killa, Rza, Gza, and Masta Killa. Method Man was the only obvious absentee. They are currently on tour right now and trying to make a comeback. I guess if The New Kids On The Block can do it, why can't they?
There were two police officers guarding the door from the outside and I don't know if both cops either had no noses or no sense of smell, but they never came inside to
question/arrest anyone for use of illegal substances. I guess the law doesn't always apply to celebrities after all!
