It is now being confirmed that Jeremy Piven's health has caused him to drop out of the revival of Speed the Plow on Broadway. He has missed a few performances in the recent weeks and now he has dropped completely from the production.
Jeremy has cited high mercury levels in his body for his failing health and his doctors have advised him against performing in the show (That's right Jeremy, the more ridiculous the lie the more believable it is!) This is pretty upsetting for audiences since the show has been one of the biggest hits on Broadway this year.
No replacements have been announced, but it is being reported that there will be some pretty big stars that will be filling his shoes.
I shot this video of Jeremy leaving one of his last performances at the show and taking time to sign autographs and pose with fans. He is a pretty nice guy and one of the most popular TV stars at the moment, so hopefully Jeremy can take care of himself so he'll be fine for the filming of the new season of Entourage.
