Plant in the 80s and 90s was known to be very nice.not when I was around.the 2 pics above are from 1993 and 2005.I have 5 total.the first one isn't pictured.but its one of the stories.the second and third stories are up above in pics.first time I waited for him at hotel for 12 hours.he shows up at 1am with a skull cap wrapped tight down his head and runs out a cab to the hotel lobby.I was almost tricked and I ran inside after him.I yelled out for him.he said something along the lines of what do I want? I said I wanted a photo with him.he said no.I then said,"but I waited for you for 12 hours!".he then shot back "and Ive been waiting 30 years".whatever creepily that meant.he pulled his hat off and I guess a hotel doorman took my photo.months later,I brought a tape recorder with me as my friends could not believe he was rude with me as he was considered on the of nicest.not when he is drunk! the second encounter I taped him saying in response to my photo request,"how about a smack!",as he signed for one person.he was of course half kidding,but said it very convincing.he posed.after that its been better situations.seen him ignore people though.my last encounter with him was good too.I bumped into him on the street and he I said "what are you doing in town",he said,"hanging out with Jimmy page!".I immediately laughed and thought he was joking.he then explained his David Letterman appearance and CD release which I forgot about.his young hot blond friend who mentioned he was fking to me out loud,lol,took the pic.I open up the newspaper the next day to find out Jimmy Page was in town doing the Wall Street opening bell or whatever its called.turns out Page was at a hotel a block away from my Plant encounter! damn how I wish I bumped into them together!
