I was at Rockefellar Center when they were doing the pre-taped segments for the Christmas Tree lighting.
My friend and I were standing inside to stay warm when my friend said, "Isn't that the American Idol Winner David Cook?" I turn around and sure enough it was David.
He was drinking a starbucks and trying to stay warm. I approached him and asked for a photo. He said "Sure, hurry up I have to be on stage." and proceeded to take good pics with my friend and myself.
He was very nice, down to earth and not cocky at all. I think it depends on how you approach them but he even took pictures with some young girls. They came in screaming and bragging that they met him.
I was ready to say, "I already met him 10 minutes ago! You're Late" but I didn't want to ruin their high.
