Last night, I went to Caroline's Comedy Club in NYC to catch Craig Robinson (Daryl from the hit show "The Office") do stand up. I'm a big fan of his and I wanted to make sure I had good seats and not stuck behind some overly annoying, overly drunk lady talking the whole time, so I slipped one of the usher's $20 to "hook it up".
As we get to our seats (4 rows back, dead center), we look in front of us and see an empty table with the "RESERVED" place card sitting on it. We don't give much thought to who it could be until in walks Brooke Shields and her husband!
I'll be honest when I say I've never been a Brooke fan. Not when she was on TV, not when she was with Andre Agassi, and not when she was fighting in public with Tom Cruise.
However (and this is a big "HOWEVER"), seeing her up close and personal was a totally different story. She looked so amazing. Her body is toned. Her face looks like she could still be in her late twenties (ok...maybe early 30's), and she was throwing back a couple mystery red drinks and cracking up the entire time.
She was there with her husband, who is definitely not the best looking guy ever, and they looked like they were having a blast. They were being very cute with each other and kissing each other every so often throughout the show.
Craig rocked his performance and had everyone laughing hysterically throughout his stand up performance...which is actually just him on a keyboard doing a lot of impromptu songs and jokes.
I was able to get two pictures of Brooke. One is of her cracking up when Craig called out someone from the audience for trying to go to the bathroom in the middle of his show, and the other is her trying to leave through the exit door as fast as possible after the show.
After seeing Brooke up close and personal, I have changed my outlook on her and am definitely a fan of hers.
TheGreatOne - Daryl was doing stand up and I missed him?!!!! Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!!!! He's like my favorite character from the office (outside of Creed of course)
