Yesterday, on Michael Jackson's birthday, a star was dedicated in his honor at the Brenden Theater in Las Vegas. His father, Joe Jackson, was there at the ceremony to accept it on his behalf. The only member of the Jackson clan to appear at the ceremony, Joe was not too enthusiastically greeted upon his arrival, by the hundred or so MJ fans crowded inside. The ceremony was hosted by Robin Leach and Johnny Brenden, and took place on the eve of what would have been Michael's 51st birthday, in the Palm's Casino.
Joe was hounded by one very over zealous fan who actually wanted to speak to him on his way out. He paid very little attention to her though.
