Or maybe John Travolta? Well neither were there actually - but Nancy Cartwright, voice of Bart Simpson) was. Boy was she friendly! She didn't mind my taking several shots of her, bit isn't this a great one of her with my son, Harry?

"We Spotted Simon Cowell On Our Holidays In Spain"Chiara, Harry and myself were in the port area of Puerto Banus near the Sinatra Bar (where else would we be??), actually looking for celebs because you nearly always bump into them around there. We had just been chatting with some footballers and thought that we had seen all there was to see, when Chiara suddenly perked up and pointed to someone sitting in the Salduba Bar (next door to the Sinatra Bar), saying, "Look, that's Simon Cowell". Of course, I didn't believe her - she was only a kid and I'm the one that's been boasting about how good I was at spotting celebs, so she had to be wrong!

Well, to our astonishment, she wasn't wrong and there he was, sitting with his then girlfriend, Terri Seymour.

Contrary to the Simon Cowell we see on TV, he couldn't have been friendlier. He was charming and allowed me to take this photo, shook hands etc.

After us, a queue formed to his table, of people wanting photos and autographs. He must have been doing it for hours - Tom Cruise style! I guess that must happen whenever he appears in a public place.

What an amazing end of the evening that was!
