Can't really say I'm surprised that it will happen, just that she...er he is being so public about it. So sad that it took so long to come to this decision though. We often see many transgendered persons make the change so late , after spending a lifetime stuck in a role that they know is not them. That must be very difficult, I can't imagine the pain and self hatred involved. Perhaps, it's for the best that her..his...father is no longer here to watch this transformation. Parents are usually the hardest hit in these circumstances. Cher seems like a very open minded individual, one that I've always admired. Hopefully she will stand by her child, with nothing but support during this time.
