Jackson Family Feuding Over Michael's Funeral

According to Mailonline, Michael Jackson’s manager has revealed the rift within the Jackson family over the tragic superstar’s funeral this week.

And he has disclosed that although he believed the singer was generally fit and healthy before his shock death, he had warned him about a sudden weight loss as the star worked hard to prepare for his marathon 50 concerts in London.

Business manager Dr Tohme Tohme said Jackson’s brothers and father Joe wanted a shrine for Michael at the Neverland Ranch but his mother and sisters vetoed the idea.

His Jackson Five brothers also wanted an open coffin funeral, similar to that of soul singer James Brown, and for the star to be driven through the streets so that mourners could throw flowers, as at Princess Diana’s funeral.

Katherine has yet to decide if Jackson's three children will attend the memorial, but if they do, they'll be at the Staples Center without their glittery masks on.

Steve McNair Ruled A Victim Of A Homicide. More Details To Come

According to ESPN, Steve McNair was the victim of a homicide, police declared Sunday. But authorities wouldn't say it was a murder-suicide -- even with his 20-year-old girlfriend dead at his feet from a single bullet.McNair, 36, had been dating Saleh Kazemi for several months, and Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron said Sunday that a semiautomatic pistol was found under her body. She was shot in the head. He was discovered in a seated position on a sofa in the living room.

McNair, who was married with four sons, had a permit to carry a handgun in Tennessee, and he was arrested once before with a 9mm weapon although charges in the case were dropped. Police said they had not yet determined who owned the gun found at the scene.

The Tennessean Investigators weren't looking for a suspect but were questioning friends of the couple as well as Kazemi's ex-boyfriend. They were also waiting for results of drug and other laboratory tests before deciding whether McNair was killed in a lovers' quarrel.

More Details About David Carradine's Death

David Carradine died from accidental asphyxiation, a medical examiner who performed a private autopsy on the actor has concluded. "The cause of death was asphyxiation, an inability to breathe, now why that happened is still what we're working on," Dr. Michael Baden, who was hired by the late actor's family, told Reuters.

The ties that bound Carradine, who was found hanging in the closet of his Bangkok hotel on June 4, helped Baden rule out suicide as well. According to Variety, Neil Patrick Harris is in the midst of cutting a deal with CBS and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to host the 61st annual kudos on Sept. 20.

Insiders cautioned that the deal is not yet completed, but all sides are working toward setting Harris as this year's Emmycast frontman as soon as possible.A CBS rep declined comment late Wednesday.

The "How I Met Your Mother" star was a no-brainer of a choice for the Eye after he earned rave reviews as host of the June 7 Tony Awards, which also aired live on CBS.
