R-Patz And Hugh Jackman Hook Up!

R-Patz and Hugh Jackman, along with Rachel Weisz will be featured in the upcoming flick, Unbound Captives, written and directed by first-timer Madeleline Stowe (yes, the actress).

The drama is the story of "a woman [Weisz] whose husband is killed and her two children kidnapped by a Comanche war party in 1859," and is "rescued by a frontiersman" played by Jackman.

"I saw three actresses, and knew after meeting with Rachel that she was the person I wanted to hand this role to," Stowe revealed about her casting choices. The director continued, "Robert said yes last fall, before everything broke with 'Twilight.' Hugh said yes a couple of weeks ago."

She's a staple in men's magazines and was named FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World for 2008. But Megan Fox says she doesn't know how to deal with the attention.

"If you know how to take control of [being a sex symbol], then it can be powerful," the actress, 22, tells Esquire in its June issue. "But I have no idea how to handle it yet, how to deal with it."

Still, the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen star, who graces the magazine's cover flashing a black garter belt, says she has a plan – and knows exactly what she's not going to do.

"I don't want to have to be like a Scarlett Johansson – who I have nothing against," she says, "but I don't want to have to go on talk shows and pull out every single SAT word I've ever learned to prove, like, 'Take me seriously, I am intelligent, I can speak.' I don't want to have to do that. I resent having to prove that I'm not a retard – but I do. And part of it is my own fault."

"I'm just really confident sexually, and I think that sort of oozes out of my pores," she adds. "It's just there. It's something I don't have to turn on."

Wolverine Sequel Already Happening!

Hugh Jackman's latest flick, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, took in $35 million just this past Friday. And the movie brought in over $85 million for the entire weekend!

With the success of the film, it's no surprise there's a Wolverine sequel on the way.

Seed Productions is already planning the sequel which will focus on the samurai storyline from the comic book series.

Seed is set to produce the flick and writers will soon be hired. And you can bet this means Jackman will likely be asking for a hefty raise.

Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon Celebrate One-Year Wedding Anniversary in Vegas

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary with a bash in Vegas.

The couple -- who said "I Do" in a surprise ceremony in the Bahamas last April -- arrived at the Palms Casino Resort's Palms Place for dinner with 50 pals, including L.A. Reid, Tyrese Gibson, Sanaa Lathan and Floyd Mayweather, the hotel rep confirms.

The venue was decorated with candle-lit tables and a sign that read, "Happy Anniversary Mariah and Nick!" Guests snacked on surf & turf, macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. For dessert, they had Creme Brulee and chocolate chip cookies.

Following dinner, the group moved over to the Moon Nightclub, where Cannon surprised his wife with a video presentation of the best moments from their first year of marriage. Then, 1,000 balloons were released into the sky when the Moon roof opened as partiers toasted them.

After the couple cut into a giant pink and white five-tiered Duncan Hines Yellow cake, Cannon hit the turntables and spun tunes.

On a billboard on L.A.'s Beverly Boulevard, Patridge poses in the sexy angel outfit with her rescued dog, Speedy Gonzalez, next to the line, "Be an Angel for Animals-Always Adopt, Never Buy."

In a statement released by PETA, Patridge says, "Each year, 6 to 8 million unwanted dogs and cats are turned in to shelters, and half are killed because there aren't enough good homes. The solution is as easy as ABC – animal birth control. Always spay and neuter, and never buy from a pet store or a breeder."

She may be one of the most famous Reality TV personalities, but when it comes to actual acting Lauren Conrad says she isn’t a natural.

The “Hills” hottie recently told press that she enlisted the help of an acting coach to help her get ready for her guest starring role on “Family Guy.”

"I hired an acting coach for the day to get me through it because a lot of the lines later on in the episode that I did are very complicated. There are a lot of facts and big words, and I had to say it as if it was coming to me very easily the lines ahead of time, instead of just reading them. I actually had to research some of them!"

And LC was grateful for the extra help. "My coach that I was working with told me if I really understood what I was talking about, it would come through a little more true."

Tyra Banks Stalker Trial Begins

The Associated Press reports that the trial of Banks' alleged stalker, Brady Green, has begun.

Green, a 38-year-old resident of Dublin, Georgia, is accused of stalking and harassing the Top Model host beginning in January 2008.

Police arrested Green on March 18th of last year, after he attempted to visit Banks at the New York building where The Tyra Banks Show is filmed.

According to a criminal complaint, Green also showed up several times at Banks' Los Angeles studio and asked to speak to her.

When confronted by police in New York, Green told cops, "I know [Banks]. She knows me. We had a thing together. I sent her flowers I sent her cards."

Green then asked police, "Should I plead no contest? I've got satellites watching me and recording us."

Green, who has pleaded not guilty to stalking, criminal trespass and harassment, faces up to 90 days in jail if he's convicted of fourth-degree stalking.

Banks is expected to testify at the trial. Perhaps now Green can hand-deliver those flowers to her himself.

Audrina Patridge Spills Details About Her New Series

Audrina Patridge is letting loose with the details about her upcoming new reality series.

"It's my life after The Hills, my journey. It’s going to be a little spicier, edgier, older," Patridge tells.

One spice that might not be included in the mix—her on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bobby. "There's going to be new love, romances," Patridge vows.

And while she can't say for sure whether Bobby will appear on the new program, she does say that her relationship with him will be settled one way or another before her stint on The Hills runs down.

"It could resolve things in a good way or in a bad way. You'll have to see," Patridge notes. "But put it this way, I don't really hold back. I just let it all out this season. I fight back."
