"Tom Arnold Brings His Act To Chicago"Last week, comedian Tom Arnold had a show at the Improv here in Chicago, and my friends and I were able to attend. The show was great and Tom was hilarious! After the show, we spotted Tom and went up to him and asked if we could take a picture with him, he was really nice and allowed us to take a picture with him! We were the only people there that he took pictures with so it was really nice of him to let us do that! He was really nice and funny on stage and off!
"Not So D-lister Kathy Griffin Comes Home"Comedian Kathy Griffin came to her hometown of Chicago last week to promote her book, Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin. She had a book signing at Borders on Michigan Ave that drew in hundreds of people.

I was lucky enough to be near the front of the line so didn't have to wait for hours like many other people did. Kathy was really sweet, funny and down to earth! She talked and joked with everyone and was just really cute!

Also at the event was a guy that Kathy talked about in the book that she used to date and went to second base with when she was younger. When he told her who he was, her jaw dropped to the floor and she told him "you're gorgeous" and then announced to all of us who he was. She was so happy and genuinely surprised. After that, some people even asked him for his autograph!
"Chris Bonno Brings His Funny To Chicago"You may remember him as the voice of the Red Bull frog prince. Last week, I met comedian Chris Bonno at the Improv Chicago. Chris opened up for Hal Sparks, and after the show, he came out to the lobby to talk and take pictures with fans. He was really nice and down to earth, not to mention, very funny!
"Hal Sparks A Fire In Chicago!"You know him best from TV shows such as Queer As Folk, E! Talk Soup, and Vh1's I love the 70's, 80's, 90's etc. More recently, you might have seen this cutie in the new movie Extract.

Last week Hal Sparks was playing at the Improv here in Chicago and I had the opportunity to catch the show. Not only is Sparks insanely good looking, but he is also really funny! He joked a lot about Michael Jackson but even though I am a huge MJ fan, I took it to be more funny than offending or insulting. He also mentioned that he doesn't drink or do drugs. Well it's no wonder why he looks so good at 40!

After the show, Hal came out to the lobby to talk and take pictures with fans. He was really sweet and down to earth. I now have a new celebrity crush! I can't wait for him to come back to town!
"Britney Spears Brings Her Circus To Chicago"After touring around the country for over a month, Britney Spears finally came to Chicago for her Circus tour on Tuesday, April 28 and Wednesday, April 29.

It's been so long since Britney had been on tour so I was so excited to finally see her again even after hearing and reading about all the bad reviews. I went to both shows and they were AMAZING! Britney danced so much more than I expected! She looked great, and she smiled a lot during the entire show! She looked genuinely happy

Tuesdays show turned out to be the loudest/best crowd yet according to Britney and her manager Adam, as well as Nicole from The Pussycat Dolls.

For Wednesdays show, Britney switched up her "Toxic/ Baby One More Time" outfit a little bit by not covering her belly with her fishnet stockings like she has been for the past few shows. And on Tuesday she wore a Police hat for "Do Somethin" but ditched the hat for Wednesdays performance.

Britney looked awesome, and her performance was incredible! I'm so glad she's back! It's Britney b*tch!
"Nickelback Rocks Chi-town On Friday The 13th"I was pretty bummed last week when I couldn’t afford to go to the Nickelback concert in town since I had been laid off at work just weeks before. Two nights after the concert I missed, I hung out at a local bar that one my girlfriend’s bartends at to get outta the house and have a couple free cocktails. She was cut from her shift early so the two of us decided to migrate to a different hotspot, which was Crobar Nightclub in Chicago. Who do I see as soon as I walked into the VIP room?? Nickelback! I spotted Chad Kroeger the minute I walked in! He had just a few guys around their table and seemed to be getting ready to leave… he began to walk in our direction which was when I stopped him to tell him how much I love the band and their work. He was super nice and grateful and even posed for a picture with me! I was so embarrassed cuz I shuffled nervously in my purse looking for my camera for a solid 30-60 seconds (felt way longer) as he just stood there waiting patiently and politely. I love him!
NICKELBACK ROCKS!!!! Chicago loves you Nickelback! MUAH!
"Usher In The Kiss Studio"A few weeks ago, Usher came up to the Clear Channel radio stations here in Chicago. He did interviews for 3 different stations (WGCI, Kiss FM, V103) and was there for just about an hour.

I was in the studio with him when he was at Kiss. During the interview, Usher was surfing the web on the computer in the studio that he sat by. I tried to get a glimpse of what he was doing but I didn't want to make it obvious. By the time I actually saw, he had just logged on to his official website.

Usher was quiet and low key and seemed like he didn't really want to be there, but he was still friendly and took pictures with anyone who asked. Remember when Usher was bigger than Kanye? I bet he's longing for those good ol days now.
"Corbin Bleu Chillin' At The Holiday Innnn"This summer, High School Musical 3 star Corbin Bleu played a show at the Dupage County Fair in Illinois (just outside of Chicago), and him and his entourage stayed at the Holiday Inn, which happens to be where I work.
He walked in with his dad around 10am, and when we asked for pictures and autographs, he had no problem doing so!
We later found out that his manager was highly upset at us for acting so "unprofessional" but Corbin still signed some autographs for people the next morning. He was super sweet!
I can't say what alias name he stayed under or anything like that, but what I can say is that he had an adjoining room with his dad, David Reivers (who also plays his dad in Jump In.
)
"Christian Finnegan Of VH1's Best Week Ever"I saw Christian Finnegan from VH1's "Best Week Ever" at Improv in Chicago when he had a show there last summer. I go to the Improv very often and see many comedians perform, but Finnegan was probably one of the funniest comedians I've seen.
After his set, he met with fans and he was very nice. I would definitely recommend going to his show!
