"Don't Ask Jamie Pressly Any Questions In An Interview."I met Jamie Pressly in New York City while she was promoting her upcoming movie "I Love You, Man". She was coming out of a hotel and I was lucky enough to catch her before she jumped into her car. I asked for a photo with her and even though her publicist said no, Jamie was very cool and said yes. She looked awesome and this was a great encounter, considering she has a reputation for not being the most fan friendly.

A week later, I was listening to a local Cleveland radio station and they were talking about how one of the radio personalities, Charlie, was in New York that weekend and was able to interview Jamie as well as Paul Rudd and Jason Segal. They played the audio of the interview with Jamie on the air and it was quite funny.

Charlie said he was not prepared for the interview and was suprised to see Jamie Pressly as he thought he was interviewing Elvis's daughter, Lisa Marie Pressley. He also said that he had never interviewed anyone before that, so you can imagine the train wreck that was about to happen.

It went off like a bad job interview. The questions didn't roll into each other, there were long pauses between Jamie's answer and the next question, and there was even other people in the room laughing throughout at how bad the interview was.

Charlie asked Jamie about what movies she got her start in and she would not discuss them since they were nothing she was proud of. Apparently Poison Ivy 3 and the Jerry Springer movie are not in Jamie's personal DVD collection. He then asked her what made her decide to get into acting and she simply responded "that would take 18 years to explain."

You could tell from the audio that Jamie was rather disgusted with the interviewer. She side-stepped several questions, the only questions she answered was about her character in the movie and a couple questions about My Name is Earl. She also said that men usually don't approach her for dates because they are scared of her.

Despite her reputation and the way the interview went, I thought she was very cool.
"Russell Brand Visits With David Letterman"Russell Brand was on the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday. He arrived to the show and signed some autographs for the fans that were waiting for him. He didn't say much and would not take pictures going in but his assistant promised he would come back over for photos on the way out. Russell went in to the studio without stopping for the photographers by the door.

As promised, Russell came back out after the taping and came right over to the small crowd of fans that were still waiting. He had someone with him videotaping him, maybe for an upcoming show. Russell came over to take photos and was joking with everyone this time.

Russell Brand is in town to promote his new book "My Booky Wook: A Memoir of Sex, Drugs, and Stand-Up". He will be at the Union Square Theater on March 11, 2009 at 7:00pm.
"Rose Mcgowan Attends '33 Variations' Premier"I was at the Broadway Premier of 33 Variations on Monday night to see what celebs would show up to the play starring Jane Fonda. Several names were rumored to be attending such as Tom Hanks, Peter Fonda among others.

The lineup was slightly different as the people in attendance was Rose McGowan, Dolly Parton, Rosie O'Donnell, Kim Cattrall and Renee Zellweger.

Rose came out of the show and was being "interviewed" by some guy with a camera asking such well thought out questions such as "Will you ever star in a movie with Arnold Schwarznegger?"

Rose was very cool with the couple of fans that recognized her and took photos and signed autographs. She then re-entered the show to go to the backstage greeting area. When she was leaving the show, she stopped to sign for several of the fans that had accummulated to greet the cast.
"Seth Green And Breckin Meyer Promote Robot Chicken In Nyc"I went to a panel this past weekend that was featuring Seth Green and Breckin Meyer for Robot Chicken.

When we arrived to the venue, a line had already formed with several hundred people in it, waiting to get into the panel discussion. My friends and I decided not to even try to get in due to the size of the line. Instead we decided to try and find the stars.

We looked around and noticed a small group of people gathered in an empty room. We went over and saw Seth Green and Breckin Meyer waiting with the group to be escorted to the discussion. I went over to Breckin and asked for a photo. I then asked Seth for a photo and he was more than happy to take it.

Seth then asked where we are from and if we were going to the panel. We told him no, because the line had already been cut off. He said not to worry and told his assistant to make sure we got seats in the front. Great Experience.

Seth is one of the nicest celebrities that I have ever met. I have met him a couple times before and he is always very cool.
"Danny Devito's Wine Bottle Signing"I went to Yonkers, New York this past weekend for a rare in-store Danny Devito autograph signing. Mr. Devito was out promoting his new wine, Danny Devito’s Premium Limoncello.

The signing was scheduled for 2 hours but Danny stuck around for about 3 hours to complete the line of fans waiting to meet the star. Little did he know that after the last person in line, the store staff of about 50 people started getting photos. The employees also brought out several more boxes of wine bottles for Danny to sign. He spent about another hour with the staff.

He was in great "spirits" throughout the signing and was great with everyone that came through his line. He even participated in an interview with some random guy that approached him as he was leaving.

One of the funniest comments I heard that day was when an older lady came in to see Danny and screamed "HE LOOKS JUST LIKE HIMSELF!!" Another lady who was just in the store shopping was digusted that people were waiting for "that clown".

"Fergie And Josh Get Married"Fergie and Josh Duhamel were married in Malibu this weekend. The couple have been dating since 2004, when Fergie guest starred on Josh's TV show Las Vegas, and became engaged in December 2007.

I met Fergie and Josh at different times.

I met Fergie at the VMAs in NYC. She was walking down the street with security and I approached her and asked if I could get a photo with her. Her guard immediately jumped in front of me and my friend and said no. Fergie couldn't have been cooler, she said it was OK and her guard, like a good dog, behaved.

Josh was filming out in NYC and we were lucky enough to see him leaving the set and going to a restaurant down the street. He was very cool as well. He stopped and took photos with us and told us about his movie "When in Rome".

Congratulations to Fergie and Josh!
"Frank Mir Wins Ufc Interim Heavyweight Championship"Frank Mir did what many consider the impossible and defeated the legendary MMA fighter Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira to win the UFC Interim Heavyweight Championship.

He won the fight via TKO in the 2nd round after knocking Nogueira down and finishing him off with several unanswered hits. This was the first time Nogueira has been knocked out in his career.

Frank Mir said in his post fight interview that he would not have bet on himself. He also had some words for UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar. He said "Last time Brock couldn't make it out of the 1st round, next time i will make him famous for what I do to him".

Frank Mir was the Heavyweight Champion several years ago but was forced to give up the title when he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. He was told he would likely never walk again but overcame those odds, and the vegas odds, to put on one of, if not the best, performance of his career and win the Championship from Nogueira.

I met Frank Mir at the Arnold Classic after his accident and before he started fighting again. He was very cool and a lot of fun to talk to about MMA. At that time he wasn't sure what his MMA plans were but I am glad he is back, and back to his old self in the Octagon.

Here's hoping Mir defeats Lesnar in 2009 to unify the championships!!!!
"Rashad Evans Wins The Ufc Light Heavyweight Championship"Rashad Evans proved to the world that he is worthy of being a champion in the UFC. On December 27, 2008, Rashad defeated Light Heavyweight Champion Forrest Griffin for one of the UFC's most prestigious titles.

Coming into the fight, Rashad was 17-0-1 and was coming off an awesome performance and devestating knockout of UFC icon Chuck Liddell.

Forrest came into the fight, defending the championship he just won from Quinton Rampage Jackson, for the first time.

Forrest looked good in the first 2 rounds, delivering several leg kicks to Rashad. However, in the 3rd round, Forrest fell and Rashad was able to capitalize and win the fight via TKO.

I met Rashad Evans when the UFC came to Columbus, Ohio. We discussed then that he should have been in line for a title shot but since his weight division was so stacked with household name fighters, it would probably be some time for him to get the title shot. Even though he was undefeated then, it took his vicious knockout of Chuck Liddell to put him in title contention.

Rashad is not my favorite fighter but he is dramatically improving with every fight and based off his last several fights, could likely hold onto that championship for a long time.
"Icon Guitarist Slash Honors Les Paul"One of my favorite Rock musicians, Slash was coming to Cleveland for a concert in honor of Les Paul, the original Guitar Hero.

Slash always had a reputation for being very cool with his fans although rumor had it, that had changed in the past year or so. I met up with one of my friends and we headed to the airport where Slash was due to be arriving.

I was shocked when I got there to see that about 20 other fans were waiting for him as well. This crowd of fans had several guitars out, waiting to get them signed. It was kind of a funny thing to see.

Once Slash arrived, he didn't seem to happy about the crowd. His handler said that Slash would sign at the venue later that night. One fan said that it was supposed to be raining all day and that the venue would not be a good place to be. I then told his guy that if everyone got in a straight line and didn't lose control, would he be OK with that.

Slash called us over and everyone did stay in a straight line. He signed one thing per person but wasn't doing photos. I only wanted a photo and no graph so when he was all done signing, he took the photo with me. His security guy was trying to not let me get the photo but Slash told him to back off. He was very cool.
