"Chris Jericho Involved In Altercation With Fans"WWE Superstar Chris Jericho was involved in an altercation with fans this past Saturday after a WWE event in Victoria, B.C., Canada. There has been videos posted of the incident on various sites, and I'll describe it as follows.
Apparently as Jericho was leaving the event he was provoked by fans surrounding his vehicle. He got out of his car and told security to remove certain fans as they began yelling at him. It's uncertain what exactly was said, but words were exchanged and things got heated. A girl began yelling in Jericho's face and pushing him. As he went to return to his vehicle it appears as if she spits on him as well. Jericho then quickly comes back out of his car and it appears as if he punches her, it's hard to tell from the camera angle. A man then comes toward Jericho threatening him and Jericho pushes both he and a security guard down that was caught in the middle. He then repeatedly starts to yell at security to do their f-ing job and keep the fans back. The man that was pushed down gets back up and tries to come at Jericho again, but this time a security guard grabs him and takes him to the ground while Jericho is falling over both of them trying to get at the guy. As Jericho gets back up another fan tries to climb on his back and he shakes them off. He then shoves everyone out of his way as he jumps back into his vehicle and drives off.
It was reported that both the man and woman were arrested later by authorities and released without charges. In a statement released by the WWE they are currently working with local authorities who are investigating the incident in order to solve the matter.
